Terry Lazar has had a 20 year successful career as an executive in the commodities brokerage business. He was the Managing Partner of Vest Inc., the largest full scale floor brokerage firm servicing the Nikkei Index on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Terry was featured as a member of the National Register’s Who’s Who and Executive and Professionals 2005-2006 Edition and is registered broker through the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trade Commission) and NFA (National Futures Association). A former member of the distinguished Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, he received a B.A. in International Banking and Finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. A self proclaimed life-long “event attendee,” he was the first to envision “the new way” event guests would catalog their experiences in the future through interactive video/photo technology. Terry is a husband and father of two young children, a die hard martial arts participant and fan, and avid fisherman.
Tim Tonella is a seasoned business executive, who currently runs the Financial Advisory practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for the Tax & Financial Group, a privately held, 40 year old wealth management firm. He has a long history in the venture capital and private equity community and has been involved in the development of early stage technology and financial services businesses. Previously, Tim was the Western SVP/GM for Merrill Corporation, a billion dollar document services company, where his responsibilities included direct oversight of all business operations. Prior to joining Merrill, he was a Vice President for Bowne Financial and held a variety of business development positions with RR Donnelley in their international, telecom, and information services business units. Tim is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is married and a father of three young kids, with a passion for elegant events, mixed martial arts, and personal training. |

Michael Bulloch has worked on public and private internet and media systems for over a decade. He is a pioneer developer of cutting edge methods for integrating audio, video and software technology in the mobile video field. A specialist in Learning Management and Content Authoring systems, Michael has done extensive work in the info security space, helping to counter the growing threat of internet cyber-terrorism. His clients have included some of the world’s most preeminent technology/media companies, including Sprint, IBM, Microsoft, Warner Brothers, and HBO. He has an undergraduate degree from the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Ontario, Canada, where he studied Entrepreneurship, Finance, Electronic Commerce and Software Development, and a graduate degree from Confederation College. In his spare time, Michael enjoys snow boarding, golfing, traveling and studying history. |

Bernie LaFrance brings years of product design and production experience, ranging from aerospace, auto, medical manufacturing, and consumer products. He developed his mechanical construction skills early on by repairing small aircraft in high school, while learning hands on carpentry at a large construction firm. After earning a degree in Aviation Technology from Lewis University, he went on to acquire his A&P license and certification for Tool Design and Engineering. Bernie spent 20 years in the plastic injection mold industry, where he expanded his CAD design and project engineering tools on products used by Ford Motor Company and Abbot Labs. Married for over 18 years, he can be frequently found on the sidelines of his three children’s hockey, gymnastic, and soccer games. |

Beth DeGraff has been in the event fashion design field for over 10 years. An accomplished producer, choreographer and narrator of many fashion shows, she has coordinated everything from high end retail displays to the outfits worn on models strutting the catwalk. She is known for her passion, creativity, and deep customer focus. Beth has always been rooted in the event market, having chaperoned Bar/Bat Mitzvahs for five years, while also owning her own woman’s clothing boutique for over a decade. She has an extensive network in the planning field and relationships with Chicago’s top entertainment planning groups. Beth graduated with a degree from Triton College in River Grove, Illinois, where she was an honor student. In spite of her many hobbies and activities, Beth’s real love is creating that unique, “memorable experience” for hosts and guests that lives on forever. |

Carolyne Connor is a leader in the executive search business, having found Matchstar, Inc. (AKA Matchstar Venture Search) in 1998. She is trained in behavioral interviewing and is focused on building successful management teams for fast growth, technology companies. A serial entrepreneur and former winner of Deloitte & Touche’s prestigious Human Resource Management Award, Carolyne can find “anyone, anywhere, for any position.” She received a B.A. in Business Administration (New and Small Business) from Georgetown University. During that period, she won 1st Place in the Women's Kumite, Eastern Regional Karate Championships, where she was undefeated for three years in a row. When not spending time with her husband and three children, Carolyne enjoys refurbishing Victorian homes and apartment buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area. |

Jim Currie is the Vice Chairman and Founder of LevelVision, a leading digital media company that delivers advertising, informational video messaging, and infotainment content through its unique, national networking platform. Under his leadership, the company has sold advertising to major brands, built a large patent portfolio (43 issued worldwide with 89 pending), and pioneered the concept of “proxemics marketing,” an advantage proven to influence consumer buyer behavior. Prior to LevelVision, Jim was a senior executive of several Fortune 500 companies, including Sears, Heller Financial, Coldwell Banker, and Moore Corporation. He is accredited with development of numerous service sector innovations, such as Rapid Refund, the nation's first business to offer the filing of individual federal income tax returns via computer. Jim began his career as an attorney, concentrating on acquisitions, divestitures, financings and alliances, where he eventually served as General Counsel to three major companies. He received a BA degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and graduated with honors from IIT - Chicago Kent College of Law. Jim has served on the Boards of many public and private companies and institutions, and is a proud husband and father of two boys. |
